At Lakewood Way Community Church, the mission of Worship Ministry is to glorify God alone and inspire our congregation to connect to God through excellent, passionate, and creative worship.
WORSHIP VOCAL TEAM
Rehearsals Thursdays, 7-8:30 pm & Sundays, 8-9 am
A rotation of vocalists possessing excellent vocal skills, a positive, coachable attitude and a servant heart. We utilize a variety of intstruments in our worship band--acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, saxophone, etc. Those interested in being a part of the worship band should have at least intermediate level skills, a collaborative, positive attitude and a servant heart. TECH TEAM
This very vital group provides audio, lighting and media support for worship services and church events. Good sound and media techs are always in demand and are essential to our worship ministry. Those interested in being a part of this ministry should possess a coachable mind, a passion for excellence, and be a team player. CHILDREN'S HANDBELL CHOIR
Children, ages 3-10, enjoy learning to play seasonal music on color-coded handbells. Occasionally they share their music during Sunday morning worship. They practice during the Sunday School hour, 9:15-10:15 am on Sunday mornings.
SEASONAL ADULT CHOIR
Occasionally we will have a special presentation (usually at Christmas or Easter) by a volunteer adult choir. This group is open to anyone who enjoys lifting up praises to the Lord!
